In order for your PC to run effectively with the software the system should meet the following requirements.

  • Windows servers or workstations: 98SE/Me/NT/2000/2003/XP
  • TCP/IP network connection
  • 10 MB free disk space for applications and additional disk space for caching active files
  • 32 MB RAM

Alerting Systems

The CYD system offers email alerting of successful and non successful backups. Whether you decide to receive the alerts or not, CYD will notify by email when they're 3 or more consecutive backup failures. If the failures continue, a CYD representative will attempt to contact you by phone and eventually a letter will be sent out.
